Sizing
Custom nails should fit you. For made-to-order designs and custom sets, choose free digital sizing, an at-home sizing kit, or your existing Wet Paint sizes when ordering.
Free digital sizing with SizeKit
Select digital sizing when you order. After checkout, your qualifying order receives an email with the SizeKit link. Follow the instructions on your phone to submit your measurements. Digital sizing has a 24-hour turnaround after you submit your measurements, and your set ships within 5 business days after sizing is complete, unless we agree on extra time for your design.
SizeKit digital sizing is covered by the Wet Paint Promise. Nail sizes can fall between available tip sizes, so a slightly larger nail may need gentle filing. If a nail is too small, email a clear photo showing the fit within 7 days of delivery, and I'll remake and resend the affected nail at no cost.
At-home sizing kit, $10
Prefer to check your fit at home? Select the at-home sizing kit option on your made-to-order or custom set. The kit adds $10 to your order. Follow the kit instructions, then email your results to wetpaintmani@gmail.com.
Include your order number and results for every finger on both hands. Label each hand separately so I can match the right size to the right nail:
- Left hand: Thumb, index, middle, ring, pinky.
- Right hand: Thumb, index, middle, ring, pinky.
The 5-business-day processing period begins 24 hours after I receive your submitted sizes. At-home sizing kit measurements are not covered by the Wet Paint Promise because I rely on the sizes you provide. If you're unsure about a fit, email me before sending your final results.
Already sized with Wet Paint?
Choose “Use my existing sizes” when ordering. Your sizes are saved for future orders, so you don't need to be sized again.
Checking your fit for Ready to Wear
Ready to Wear sets are already painted and have fixed sizes. Each product listing shows the nail widths in millimeters, along with the shape, length, and finish. Compare the listed widths with each of your nails on both hands before ordering. Check whether the listing gives separate left and right hand measurements.
When in doubt, choose a larger size. Nails can be gently filed smaller, but they cannot be made bigger. Ready to Wear sets cannot be resized and are not covered by sizing services or the Wet Paint Promise.
